A New Home Cinema Powerhouse Introduced at CES 2026
Unveiled at CES 2026, the Hisense XR10 marks a major step forward in the Chinese manufacturer’s premium strategy. With this ultra high-end model, Hisense clearly targets demanding home cinema enthusiasts and dedicated theater installations. Its promise is simple yet ambitious: deliver a massive, bright, and precise image capable of reaching up to 300 inches in diagonal size.
A Colossal Image Up to 300 Inches
The XR10 can project an image up to 300 inches (approximately 7.6 meters diagonally). To put that into perspective, this is more than four times the size of a 75-inch TV. This positioning places it firmly in the category of projectors designed for large dedicated theater rooms or spacious living areas with significant viewing distance. Thanks to its extended optical zoom, users can adjust image size without sacrificing sharpness.
6,000 Lumens and a Triple Laser Engine
The XR10 features a new RGB triple laser light engine capable of delivering up to 6,000 ANSI lumens. This exceptionally high brightness level allows for vivid images even in moderately lit rooms, improved perceived contrast, and wide color gamut coverage. Its optical block, composed of multiple glass lenses, is designed to ensure excellent clarity and uniformity across the entire projected surface.
AI-Assisted Installation
Hisense integrates an advanced installation assistance system combining cameras and ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensors. This enables automatic geometric correction, intelligent autofocus adjustments, and compensation for minor alignment imperfections. The XR10 also includes horizontal and vertical lens shift, a major advantage for high-end home cinema setups. This allows precise image positioning without relying excessively on digital keystone correction.
Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced Compatibility
On the format side, the XR10 clearly positions itself in the premium segment with support for Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced. These certifications ensure advanced HDR processing, enhanced dynamic range, and faithful reproduction of filmmakers’ creative intent.
Advanced Cooling and Premium Design
With such high brightness output, thermal management is critical. Hisense integrates an optimized cooling system designed to provide stable performance over time, reduced operating noise, and extended laser light source lifespan. The XR10 features a sober, installation-focused design, clearly aimed at dedicated home theater environments rather than compact lifestyle use.
A Clearly Premium Positioning
The Hisense XR10 is expected to launch in the second half of 2026. Pricing has not yet been officially announced, but based on its technical specifications, it is expected to target the high-end projector market. With its ability to deliver up to 300 inches, the XR10 confirms Hisense’s ambition to establish itself as a major player in the premium laser projector segment and compete directly with long-standing home cinema brands. On paper, the XR10 is impressive. The real test will be how it performs in hands-on reviews, particularly in terms of native contrast, color accuracy, and HDR performance.
